BIZCOMPS 2003 is fourteenth annual study of over 6,000 recently sold businesses totaling over $1 billion dollars. This CD-ROM provides you with valuable data from business sold across the entire country to help you determine the worth of a business.
This excellent, stand-alone program accesses the data by SIC code, NAICS code, word search, sale size and geographical area. BIZCOMPS also interfaces with both ValuSource Pro 2003 and Express Business Valuation. Statistical analysis and graphing are also included. The comparison analyzer allows your client's financial data to be entered and assessed by select BIZCOMPS data to compare a specific business to BIZCOMPS data. The sold businesses are compared by:
- Sales price to gross sales (Also graphed and with medians)
- Sales price to seller's cash flow (Also graphed and with medians)
- Gross sales by seller's cash flow to determine profitability.
- Actual down payment versus all cash
- Rent as a percent of gross sales
- The value of furniture, fixtures and equipment
- The value of inventory at time of sale
Only Wiley's version of BIZCOMPS has the built-in Market Data Appraisal Report Module enhancement. This unique module allows the practitioner to perform a simple Market Data Appraisal based on BIZCOMPS Price to Revenue or Price to Seller Discretionary Cash Flow Ratios in five easy steps:
1. Select the appropriate comparables.
2. Complete the company profile.
3. Select the appropriate valuation multiple (P/R or P/SDCF).
4. Enter the company financial data.
