This work examines the major issues that accountants in multinational corporations and their outside consulting firms must deal with if they are to understand how the corporation is performing financially. Belkaoui describes the specific environment of multinational management accounting and the techniques required for efficient operation. The study focuses on four basic topics: the new international business environment, managing exchange rate risks, organization and controlling, and management accounting issues such as capital budgeting, pricing strategies, and lease-or-buy decisions.
