Washington, Abram Harris, and Phyllis Wallis; an examination of racism within the economics profession; and an accessible approach which is free of technical jargon.
Volume 2 offers an analysis of urban poverty; discusses aspects of racial inequality and public policy, including affirmative action, and self-help solutions; examines the theory and method which underlies public policy; and studies the impact of racism on the socio-economic status of African-Americans.
About the Author
Thomas D. Boston is Professor of Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is editor of the Review of Black Political Economy and has lectured and published widely on issues of race and economics.
