About the Author
Dr. Connie M. Forde is a Professor at Mississippi State University. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Business Education at the University of Southern Mississippi and her Ph.D. at the University of Mississippi. Her teaching specialties include keyboarding, Document Formatting and Production, Word Processing, Office Systems Applications, Electronic Presentation, and Records Management.
Dr. Forde's writing experience includes co-authoring several Word Processing Simulations and Keyboarding titles, also published by South-Western Publishing Company. She is the former President of both the National Business Education Association (1995-1996) and the Southern Business Education Association (1989). Donna L. Woo is Instructor and Department Coordinator for Information Systems/Office Automation for Cypress College and Associate Director and Director of Education at Pacific College. She received her B.A. and M.A. in Business Education at Michigan State University and is currently working on her Ed.D. at Nova University.
Ms. Woo has also published many titles with International Thomson Publishing, including DisplayWrite 4, A Practical Approach, DisplayWrite 3, A Practical Approach, Computer Keyboarding, and MicroGuide with WordPerfect 5.1.
