About the Author
Joli Ballew is a columnist on the Windows XP Expert Zone and the author of several books on Windows and digital media. Her latest titles include Windows XP Professional-The Ultimate Users Guide, Second Edition; The Complete Idiot's Guide to Photoshop Elements 2.0, and A Simple Guide to Photoshop 7. Joli is also involved in writing content for online training courses, teaching Microsoft Office Specialist training, Microsoft FrontPage®, and MCSE courses at Eastfield Community College, and consulting for a few companies in the Dallas area.
Joli is a graphic artist and full-time writer in Dallas, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. In 2000, she earned her MCSE, MCT, and A+ certifications and began writing full time soon thereafter. Joli also works for North Texas Graphics, a screen-printing, embroidery, and graphics company specializing in producing logos, advertisements, and promotional materials.
