About the Author
Carl Hausman (Ph.D., the Union Graduate School; post-doctoral fellowship, New York University) is Associate Professor of Communications at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Hausman is the author of 20 books, including nine on the mass media. He has worked in various news and news management positions in radio and television, has worked as a radio producer, staff announcer, and freelance voice-over announcer and has testified before Congress on media ethics issues.
