About the Author
John Mayfield received his real estate license at the age of 18 in 1978. John was one of the first sales associates in his board of REALTORS® to reach the Missouri Association of REALTORS® Million Dollar Club. John has been a practicing broker since 1981 and he owns and operates three offices in Southeast Missouri, and manages over 30 real estate agents. John has taught pre- and post-license real estate courses since 1988. He is the 2003 Technology Chairman for the Missouri Association of REALTORS®, and has served on many local and state committees and task forces for the REALTOR® organization. John has earned the ABR®, ABRM, CRB, e-PRO®, and GRI designations throughout his real estate tenure. John is an avid real estate speaker and trainer. John was a speaker at the National Association of REALTORS® 2004 Annual Business Conference in Orland, FL. He has been a featured speaker at the Better Homes and Gardens Convention on three separate occasions, spoken to the Missouri Association of REALTORS® convention, and the Springfield Board of REALTORS® convention. He has also spoken to numerous boards of REALTORS® throughout Missouri and Arkansas, and currently serves on the Missouri Association of REALTORS® GRI staff, and the Nebraska and Arkansas Association of REALTORS® GRI staffs. John lives and breathes technology training and is always looking for new ways to make other real estate agents be more productive and save time.
