About the Author
Tom Wolsky is an honors graduate of the London School of Film Technique with nearly 40 years of professional experience spanning film, tape, and digital production. Career highlights include work on BBC documentaries and dramas, producing ABC News programs, managing tape operations and news editors, and the occasional screenwriting gig. Tom taught video production at Mendocino High School for ten years. He also teaches for Apple Computer and for the Digital Media Academy at Stanford University, acts as a guide on a number of online forums, and publishes articles in DV and Macworld magazines. He has authored several editions of Final Cut Pro Editing Essentials and Final Cut Express Editing Workshop.
