About the Author
Jeffrey S. Harrison is the Fred G. Peelen Professor of Global Hospitality Strategy and area director of Marketing, Information Systems and Strategy at Cornell University. He has authored or co-authored several books on Strategic Management. His articles are published in prestigious academic journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, as well as practical journals such as Long Range Planning and Academy of Management Executive. He is a member of the editorial review boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Executive and Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly. Dr. Harrison has received numerous teaching, research, and service awards. Caron St. John is a professor of Management and director of the Arthur M. Spiro Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Clemson University. Since joining the faculty at Clemson, Dr. St. John has authored or co-authored articles in respected management journals such as Strategic Management Journal and Academy of Management Review, two strategic management textbooks, several textbook cases, and numerous conference papers. She has also received the Management Department Scholarly Achievement Award and the MBA Outstanding Faculty Award.
